Chapel

Four days each week, we take fifteen minutes to hear, recite, and sing God’s Word. Students learn to appreciate traditional hymns they may not have heard before. They learn how to sing from a hymnbook, and how to participate in the tradition of Christian worship that began even before Christ. One day each week we have a more formal chapel service using the order of Matins, which has been used in various forms by Lutherans and others for over a thousand years. Chapel services bring together many of the other things our students learn throughout the day.
