Bible History | Subjects We Teach | Latin Introduction

Subject: Arithmetic

The regular mathematics studies in the early grades coordinate with phonics, reading, and language lessons. Our ABeka math curriculum progresses swiftly up to the introduction of basic algebra concepts in the third grade. This provides an excellent background for students to transition in the fourth grade to a slower-paced program with greater depth and mastery, using books by John Saxon. There they will revisit the subject of Algebra in the seventh and eighth grades.
